This trophy was established to encourage crewing members to become proficient in yacht handling and to promote yacht racing.
It is to be awarded annually to an outstanding racing crew member.

--  Eligibility  --

• Is a member in good standing of Etobicoke Yacht Club.
• Has participated regularly in the weeknight and weekend club racing events.
• Has displayed competency in both sail and boat handling.
• Has shown understanding of the basic rules, objectives and racing strategies.
• Has honoured the principles of fair play and sportsmanship.
• Is not a racing skipper.

--  Selection  --

• Activities both on and off the boat, such as fostering the racing program, may be considered.
• The final selection will reflect the issues prevailing this season and may include;  development, performance and placing.
