Free Recreational Vessel Courtesy Checks At Etobicoke Yacht Club.

As a “follow-on” from the National Safe Boating Awareness Week, Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons have again offered FREE Recreational Vessel Courtesy Checks at EYC.

This Sunday John Warwick and his team, Paul Rogers EYC and Keith Nettleton MCC, inspected 16 boats; the previous weekend total was 13, making a to-date total of approximately 30 EYC boats.
 
Most received the decal the first time around, and most others made good their safety equipment, etc. requirements and subsequently received a 2010 Safety Inspection Decal.
 
Although there isn’t a next inspection date planned; John will post a list on the EYC Notice Board for EYC members to add their names, and will wait to see what the response is.

Thus, if you missed the two scheduled events, there is some possibility of a future inspection day (two or three weeks hence, possibly)

Members of Etobicoke Power Squadron verified that you have all the required safety equipment on board your boat.
